Approach

Our Quality Assessment services employ a two-tiered approach of inquiry and analysis. We first take a strategic approach aimed at evaluating the overall context and goals of your organization and its leadership, incorporating strategic planning, communication, and decision-making aspects.


We then probe deeper via an operational assessment, where we analyze processes, personnel and technologies and study their adequacy in enabling efficient and effective operations. We apply industry-recognized reference frameworks such as SEI-CMMI, TMMI and PMBOK, and management tools such as SWOT analysis, to evaluate and benchmark your organization against proven standards and good practices, and identify strengths and areas of improvement.


The terms Quality Assurance (QA) and testing are often – and incorrectly – used synonymously by organizations. UST Global clearly distinguishes between the two by classifying testing as a Quality Control (QC) activity aimed at verifying or validating the software product. Our QA service, on the other hand, addresses the evaluation, monitoring and reporting of process quality and project health, providing to management independent, objective visibility into what is really going on. This is based on the premise that a quality process is required to deliver a quality product on time and within budget.


We also provide Quality Improvement services, where we typically draw from our Assessment observations to determine what your desired “future state” model should be for quality management and work with you to develop a roadmap for getting there. We address not only the technical aspects of process improvement but also the change management and cultural aspects.
